Books are selected by Dr. Wellbrock in collaboration with each guest artist to promote student interest and support current classroom themes.
Broadway Books First Class welcomes Members of the broadway community into the classroom to share THEIR time and PERFORMING ARTS GIFTS.
Each visit PROMOTEs LITERACY and the arts FOR CHILDREN WHO ARE DEAF, HARD OF HEARING AND DEAF-ALLIED.

Each Broadway Books First Class visit consists of...
American Sign LANGUAGE (ASL)
A reading of a high quality children's book in spoken english and ASL
A question and answer session with our guest artist about life upon the wicked stage
A group photo
A SHOW OF GRATITUDE
And when funding permits...
a book signing with copies OF THE BOOK for each student
